Hello, hello!

Wow, time has flown by me. I realize it's been quite a while since my last post. I'm quite busy with the final two weeks of school and then I hope to be back in the saddle again. So I guess I'm stopping by mid-hiatus to let you know about the hiatus! Haha! A little inspiration for ya:

and of course, always dreaming of things for my wedding, which I am planning for next summer. :)

A few of my favorite things

Thrifting stuff for my house can be difficult. I try not to aquire too much dishware and such, as I don't have a lot of storage. It's so tempting to get every adorable plate/cup/bowl I find. So far I've mostly been able to resist, but I do have a few things I thought you'd enjoy.

Cotillion Powder

My great grandma had powder that smelled just like this when I was growing up. Whenever we'd get out of the bath she'd let us have one puff of powder from the big fluffy thing inside. The smell really takes me back, and I admit I only open it every once and a while when I'm feeling nostalgic. :)

"Nuts to You!"

I love this "Nuts" to You bowl. Oh my goodness. Every time I look at it I burst out laughing.

Personally Mine treasure box

My mom got my this for Christmas. It's a cute little vinyl box that opens to hold some treasure. She said she had a similar one when she was younger.

Glass Box and Resin Pendants

She also got me this handmade glass box. Not really thrifted, I spose, but it's still really beautiful! Also these resin pendants came from etsy for my high school proms.

See you soon!

Been a very long week for us. Taking care of Klausey's business takes a lot out of me, but for now it looks like we're on the right track. He gets to have special medicine that makes his water green and fish-flavored, which I'm sure thrills him immensely. :)

Today we went out to the park to spend time walking and enjoying the sun. It was very windy! Which meant of course that nothing was cooperating for pictures, but it was still a very fun afternoon.

Being spring time, the baby ducks are beginning to emerge! These guys were so cute. I know, I animal photos. But they were so great! Small and fluffy and perfect.

Here's a little blooper for you guys, since Michael always seems to catch me doing something silly. I think this was right after I chased a mean goose away. He was chasing the mama duck and her babies! What a jerk!

I'm off to play The Sims Medieval. I'm a hopeless nerd. See you soon. :)

Indian Summer

The Doors, one of my most favorite groups. Nothing speaks of summer to me like The Doors and a warm breeze.

Ice cream.
